Our Department’s First ERASMUS Intern Has Begun Their Work

Umar Bin Ghayas, the first ERASMUS intern from our Faculty and Department of Computer Engineering, has commenced his work.

Umar Bin Ghayas, a postgraduate student at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences—one of Germany’s prestigious educational institutions—has joined a comprehensive nine-month internship programme within our department. During this period, it is planned that our intern will actively participate in academic research and projects in the field of data analysis within our department.

Expressing his satisfaction on the matter, Prof. Dr Erhan Cengiz, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, stated: “As a faculty, we are delighted with this step we have taken in line with our internationalisation goals. We welcome our first international intern, Umar Bin Ghayas, to our university; I wish him every success during his nine-month period of study and research in our department.”
