Success in TÜBİTAK 1002-B Project from Our Department

The project led by Research Assistant Gürkan ÇELİK, a faculty member of our department, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002-B Rapid Support Program. The project, titled "Analysis of Pre-Rental User Behaviors in Shared Mobility Systems and the Impact of Vehicle Placement on Walking Distances," aims to develop AI-driven solutions for demand forecasting and vehicle placement challenges in shared e-scooter usage.

Through the analyses to be conducted, the project will focus on examining users' walking durations before their rides in specific areas, aiming to develop models that enhance the accessibility of urban transportation infrastructure in shared mobility systems by reducing supply-demand imbalances.
