Solution-Focused Idea Marathon from NEXUS: Campus Ideathon Completed
The ALKU NEXUS Software Development and Project Community successfully held its Campus Ideathon event on October 31st, designed to encourage students to think creatively and solution-oriented. The event, held in a friendly atmosphere at the Rafet Kayış Faculty of Engineering Computer Laboratory, allowed students to compete with their ideas both individually and as a group.
The primary goal of the event was for participants to develop innovative software and project solutions to real-world problems encountered on the ALKU campus. Based on these identified challenges, students spent the day developing project details, feasibility studies, and presentations. Following an intense and enjoyable ideation marathon, a total of seven teams presented their projects to the jury. During the presentations, the students had the opportunity to demonstrate their problem-solving and presentation skills, as well as their technical skills.
Following the evaluations, the "Insiders" team won the jury's approval and placed first. The winning team distinguished themselves in both creativity and practicality with their proposed solution. At NEXUS, we congratulate all participating students for their effort, energetic presentations, and commitment to creating solutions for our campus. These types of idea marathons significantly help prospective engineers develop their teamwork skills and gain experience applying their theoretical knowledge to concrete problems while still in university. NEXUS will continue these types of practice-focused activities to support student development in the coming term.
