Our Department Welcomed Visitors from AGH University
Our department hosted Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mikołaj Leszczuk (Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications) and Maria Potrawka-Haczek (Geo Data Science, Geodesy and Environmental Engineering) from AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow). Within the scope of the visit, both guests made detailed presentations about the fields of study of their universities, the international projects they carry out and the joint research topics that can be developed with the departments of our faculty. In the meeting held after this visit, it was decided to initiate the Academic Cooperation Protocol (MoU: Memorandum of Understanding) processes between both universities, and to take steps towards Erasmus exchange agreements and joint projects between the departments of our faculty and the departments of the AGH university.
DEAN PROF. DR. CENGIZ “WE WILL SIGN NEW WORKS”
Dean Prof. Dr. Erhan Cengiz, who gave information after the meeting with the visitors, stated that the meeting was very productive. Prof. Dr. Cengiz emphasized that he is very excited about the cooperation between AGH and ALKU through Assoc. Prof. Dr. Leszczuk, “Our scientific and technological studies continue at full speed in our faculty. We have accelerated our work with other universities. We made plans for the future by making the first meetings with AGH University, which is at the highest level among the technical universities of Poland. In the new period, we will continue our work in the most efficient way for our country by signing new studies. I would like to thank the visitors and our academicians for their intense efforts. I wish that our work will be beneficial for our whole country and the world of science.”
