2024-2025 Orientation Meeting
An orientation meeting was held for the first-year students of our department for the 2024-2025 academic year. The meeting was attended by faculty members and research assistants, including Dr. Özge ÖZTİMUR KARADAĞ, Dr. Yılmaz Kemal YÜCE, Dr. Kübra UYAR, Dr. Enis ARSLAN, Research Assistant Gürkan ÇELİK, Research Assistant Ali ÇOBAN, and Research Assistant Ahsen BATTAL. During the event, students were provided with essential information about university life.
The meeting included presentations on the department’s academic structure, course schedule, and opportunities available to students. Faculty members gave detailed explanations about the opportunities and challenges students will face throughout their four-year education. Information was also shared on course content in fields such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data science. Guidance was provided to help students make the most of their university experience.
Additionally, during the orientation, the department’s faculty offered advice to students on how to achieve academic success. Information was provided on participation in research projects, internship opportunities, and international exchange programs. The importance of developing practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge was emphasized. The meeting concluded with an interactive session where students shared their questions and feedback.
